Overview:

PolySlate paper is a digital-compatible, durable, rip-proof, and 100% waterproof synthetic paper that can print through any laser printer or copy machine.  PolySlate Paper is an ideal solution for both indoor and outdoor applications or for when your printed materials will be subject to heavy handling or extreme environmental conditions. 

Available in various sizes, thicknesses, and colors, PolySlate's versatility makes it useful across a wide array of industries.  PolySlate can be hole punched, folded, scored, and cut using scissors or cutting machines while remaining 100% waterproof.

What thickness is PolySlate? 

PolySlate is 10 Mil in thickness and is 270 GSM.  It is our primary thickness for commercial and industrial use, yet it can still be printed through a desktop laser printer.  PolySlate is well-suited for applications such as restaurant menus, outdoor signage, notebook covers, and posters, wherever thickness and cost efficiency are important.

Printing Tips!

When printing 10 Mil PolySlate, use the thick paper setting, or the glossy paper setting on your printer for the best results. 

Consider UV nano-coating for the best toner protection on applications such as menus, or ask us about our printing services. This will eliminate the possibility of toner transfer if sheets are stacked wet and left to dry.

What is PolySlate made of?

PolySlate is crafted from commercial-grade polypropylene, ensuring it never delaminates, cracks, peels, or frays at the corners. With identical surfaces on both sides, it prints equally well on both faces. PolySlate supports high-speed printing with minimal static electricity. It is FDA Food Contact Safe, colorfast, and can be sanitized and washed with soap and water, making it an ideal choice for a variety of applications.

Can I print and write on it?

Is it of archival quality?

PolySlate is of archival quality and acid-free.  It is also the exact same on the front as the back so that you can print and write on both sides equally.  It can be recycled as a #1 recyclable but please note that like anything, PolySlate may or may not be able to be recycled into new materials at your local recycling center which is why we strongly encourage re-use whenever possible.  Click here for a list of creative ways to re-use TerraSlate and PolySlate.
